Legiant announced on December 5, 2007 the appointment of Joe Mercer as their new Professional Services Manager, with responsibility for project implementations, customer support and workflow management. Mercer was previously with the Texas Medical Board as their Information Technology Department Manager and with Dell Computer Corporation as the Manager of Database Administration.

Based in Austin, Texas, Legiant is a provider of web-based time and attendance systems and time accounting systems for payroll, attendance, productivity, leave and project tracking. Their offerings include Legiant Timecard™ and Legiant Express™.
