Acroprint Time Recorder Company has announced the launch of the PD100 Time Recorder, a no-frills entry level time and date stamp that might be just the thing for small businesses with simple time recording needs.

This clock is about as simple as it gets. It comes with a pre-inked ribbon, so all you have to do is set the time and you’re ready to start printing. And when it comes to printing, I can’t think of how they could have made it much easier — just insert your time card or document, line it up with the red mark on the side and press the silver button. Done!

Now, I must be honest. There aren’t a lot of extras and options. As in, there are none. It prints the day and the time (hours and minutes). That’s pretty much it. If you were looking for selectable languages or want to configure it to print in hundredths or need custom messages to print along with the time stamp, you will want to look elsewhere.

But if all you need is a simple, easy-to-use stamp to imprint documents or time cards with the date and time, this could be a simple and affordable solution for you.
