A New Player in the Workforce Management Software Arena

iEmployee, a Massachusetts-based provider of services and software for small to mid-sized businesses, was recently acquired by Forgent Networks of Austin, Texas. iEmployee’s products include software providing such things as time and attendance tracking, pay stubs and W2 documentation and expense management. Forgent Networks provides software that helps companies manage conference rooms, assets and other resources.
The new company will be known as Asure Software.
“We believe that by combining forces, we will be able to offer more robust products and a larger suite of offerings to our customers and significantly expand our share of the work-force management market,” said iEmployee co-CEO Fenil Shah.
The new company will be headquartered in Austin, with locations in Seekonk, Massachusetts, Mumbai, India and Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada.
