Stromberg Chief Named

Today, August 14, Paychex, Inc. (NASDAQ:PAYX) announced the appointment of Ian Sexton as president of their Stromberg LLC subsidiary. Previously he was the vice president of sales and marketing with Stromberg, which was acquired by Paychex in 2004. In that role he was responsible for growing the national accounts sales force and oversaw significant increases in sales revenue.

Stromberg, a Lake Mary, FL-based company, provides workforce management solutions for mid- to large-sized businesses. Paychex, headquartered in Rochester, NY, offers payroll, human resource, and benefits outsourcing solutions for small- to medium-sized businesses.

Kronos Appoints New VP

On August 6, KronosÂ® Incorporated announced the appointment of Chris Todd to the position of vice president of professional services, reporting directly to Kronos CEO Aron Ain. His responsibilities in this position will be to cultivate and manage customer engagements and oversee the management and growth of the company’s North American professional services organization.

Todd comes to Kronos from Blackbaud, Inc., where as senior vice president of worldwide sales and operations he managed their U.S. sales team and was responsible for all aspects of operations, including professional services and support, in Australia, Scotland, and England.
